About the speaker
Kornel Kossuth, otherwise known as ‘The Poetry Busker’, writes poetry and prose, both playful and thoughtful, after long reflection or off the cuff on his Remington portable typewriter, and complements this with illustrations in a variety of media. Currently he is modernising a number of Ovid’s Metamorphoses. In his free time he teaches English. Kornel will be composing a series of real-time poems for each day of Islay Book Festival.
