The Scottish queen of ‘Feel Good Fiction’ will visit Islay as part of a wider island tour! Her brand-new escapist stand-alone novel, The Summer Skies, features Morag, a pilot forced to crash-land on a remote island, where she encounters Gregor, a gruff and reclusive ornithologist. Brace yourself for a good bit of humour, as well as some serious discussion about why ‘Tartan Romance’ shouldn’t be sidelined as it often is, despite being as popular with the public as its more famous cousin ‘Tartan Noir’.
