Gerda Stevenson talked about her acclaimed Quines at our online 2020 festival, and we are thrilled to welcome her to Islay for the very first time this year. She will present her new poetry collection, Tomorrow’s Feast, which centres on the legacy faced by the next generation. Profoundly personal as well as political, it includes a beautiful libretto in verse, a contemporary retelling of Coleridge’s epic poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner set during the refugee crisis.
